The next day, we took a 4-hour bus ride from the capital of Guangxi, Nanning to the Vietnam / China border to visit Detian waterfall which is the largest transnational waterfall in Asia, second the world . The largest i think would be Niagara Falls in USA/Canada. That waterwall i shall wait till Desmond or Shaun to show it to me when they are back.

Entrance to Detian Waterfall

Detian Waterfall
It comprises of 3 tiers and combined with Banyue waterfall on the Vietnam side , its over 200 metres wide.

On my left is Banyue waterfall of Vietnam, while the right one is Detian which belongs to China.
If you are a lazybum, you can choose to pay abit for comfort. The locals will let you ride their horses to reach to scenic place as one would have to walk about 1km from the entrance to right in front of the falls. I guess some of my friends would fancy this option if they were there.
Souvenirs made of real bullets. I doubt anyone would be interested in them as we cant even pass the customs with these in our bags.

According to the guide, as Vietnam used to be controlled by the French, they also learn how to make perfume and cologne from them. Notice the brand CK. Haha. But she also added that these perfume can be used to freshen up the toilets instead of oursleves as we were quite sceptical of its content. The ciggerettes were cheap also, with 3 packets going for RMB10 (about S$2)

Fried mealworms

The road which joins both countries
Normally, its passable without passports needed. But due to frequent clashes between the people on both sides for their share of tourists' businesses, the authorities decided to seal this road temporarily.
