Just started work at P*A HQ on mon after my contract had finished at Southwest. Come to think of it, the colleagues at Southwest are the nicest batch of people i ever come across for colleagues. They will treat you to lots of food(which i turned down sometimes), invite you for their weekly badminton sessions and very coorperative when you need stuff or their assistance. The NUS and NTU interns are also quite friendly. If not for the busy workload, i think maybe could have get to know them better.
Compared to this, this current assignment is more mundane and predictable. Basically, i have to archive and file every single confidential document they send to the central registry, which is a huge room containing hundreds of thousands of files. I think never in my life i have ever seen such a enormous room. Its like the Secret Archive room from Angels and Demons which Robert Langdon tore a page from the ancient book. Cant really go into details about it cause everything is confidential, but i guess i am able to dig out anyone's particulars from the library there. One thing which i dont really like is the access doors at Pa HQ which needs access cards to go anywhere, even if it is to go out of the building. Its a damm waste of time scanning here and there to reach your destination. Ironically, my temp pass allows me to go anywhere except the Central Registry hence i need help from the people inside to open the doors for me.
But I must admit that PA HQ is surrounded by quite a number of good food. Usually, i am quite sick of the food around my workplace, but this time i get to choose from quite a variety of food locations. Another thing that is positive is that its so near town so i can go shopping right after work.
Hm looking forward to Harry Potter this weekend.

Hey Kang,
When blogging about companies always take caution. Write P*A HQ in this manner. So it won't appear on search sites and you will be less susceptible to any possible issues drawn from the results of your work. All my friends blogging about work do that. Hahaha. Edit it soon-ish especially if your work is supposed to be confidential.

oh.. haha.. yea.. there's plenty of gd food near ur current workplace. there's a famous stall selling pig organ soup there, which i go wif my dad sometimes.
Anyway, jiayou wif ur work and studies! gonna meet up soon for the long overdue meal :D
Alright sure, will edit it. dont want to get into trouble also. Hm pig organ soup abit fatty to me. I only like the meatball inside which they usually give one only. I tried a famous scissors curry rice there. Not bad leh but quite spicy. They poured the curry sauce as if it was free.
